Gas servicing
Faulty gas appliances are dangerous. They can leak odourless carbon monoxide which, if breathed in, can kill.
To keep you safe, we'll arrange for your gas heating system to be serviced each year. Please make sure you let our gas service engineer into your home to carry out this important work.
If your boiler breaks, please contact our Customer Services Team on 01933 234450 immediately.
If you smell gas, phone the free Transco service on 0800 111 999 and:
- Put out cigarettes
- Open doors and windows to let the gas escape
- Turn off the gas supply at the meter
- Don't use any naked flames
- Don't use electrical switches as the spark could ignite gas.
Never try to repair gas appliances or pipework yourself as this must be done by a registered engineer.
